Greetings from Tlalpujahua

Alejandro and I are taking a weekend excursion to Tlalpujahua, a beautiful town with a tongue-twisting name in the state of Michoacán.  It was designated a "Pueblo Mágico" (Magic Town), and it certainly deserves that designation.  I will write more about it in future posts, but for now here are few pictures of this truly magical place.

  1. One of the last remaining arte de plume artesans is in that town! I went there to meet him but he was not available. I did go to the ornament factories but purchased nothing. That town is very near one of the monarch sanctuaries that I have visited. You were only about 2 hours from SMA when you were there! It is a LOVELY place, but I still cannot pronounce the name, ha.
