Volcano View

Yesterday morning, when Alejandro came back from taking his sister to work, he told me to go up to the roof because the volcanos to the east were clearly visible.

So, with camera in hand, I climbed the steps going up the roof and took these photos...

Iztaccíhuatl (Izta for short) to the left and Popocátpetl (Popo) to the right.

"Izta" is referred to as "the Sleeping Lady", and, with a little imagination, you can see the silhouette of a reclining woman.

"Popo" appears to be snow covered, so I checked out the website of Mexican webcams, and, yes, the volcano clearly had a mantle of snow.
