Day of the Dead is a month away. Some stores such as Walmart have been selling bread of the dead for weeks as well as decorations such as plastic jack o' lanterns made in China.
However, the other day, I saw my first Day of the Dead display on the street.
At a café just around the corner from the apartment, two skeletons are sitting at an outdoor table. They appear to have ordered a bottle of Mexican wine, but I have passed by several times, and they still haven't opened it!
