Homeowners in Mexico City do not shy away from painting their houses in bright, strong colors. I can imagine that if I were to paint my house in suburban Cleveland one of those shades, the neighborhood would have a fit. But here in Mexico, the vivid colors look great. Here are a few examples from walking around Alejandro's neighborhood.

Wonderful to see! Here in SMA, in Centro, the colors that can be used are limited to the ones that the Historical Commission allows. But everywhere else there is COLOR!
ReplyDeleteWell, you don't see that kind of color in much of the Centro Histórico or in some of the ritzier neighborhoods of Mexico City. But we also have colorful street art throughout the city.
