U.S. chains down here such as Walmart and Costco are not the only ones who rush the season with their merchandise. I took this photo in one of the Chedraui stores two days before Independence Day. We had not even celebrated that holiday, and there was already Day of the Dead / Halloween merchandise out on the shelves.
I did not look closely at any of the items but I suspect that all of them are made in China.
Even worse, when we went to Costco the next day, they already had artificial Christmas trees out for sale.
