Progress on the Christmas Card

At the end of June I wrote that it was time to begin work on the painting that I will use for my Christmas card this year.  I wanted to finish it before the end of July.  I completed the painting a bit ahead of schedule more than a week ago.  Last Wednesday I walked about a mile up Insurgentes Avenue from the apartment to the nearest Office Max store.

I took the painting with me and had them scan it and put the image onto a memory stick.  The scan cost me all of 10 pesos (about 50 U.S. cents).

Now my next step is to contact the print shop that I used last year.  It was just a modest at-home business in an apartment in the Condesa neighborhood, but she did a good job.  I no longer see it listed on Google Maps, so hopefully she is still in business.

As for the subject of this year's painting, you will have to wait until Christmas.
