Here's another picture of the snow-covered volcano Popocatépetl that was taken by Alejandro's mountain climbing friend.
The photo was taken at "el Paso de Cortés", the mountain pass with an altitude of over 12,000 feet above sea level between the peaks of Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl. It is named after the Spanish conquistador Hernán Cortés who led his army across the mountains here in 1519 on his way to the Aztec capital of Tenochtitlan.
