It's been a while since I looked at the volcano Popocatépetl on the "Webcams de México" website. Yesterday morning when I got up, I took a look. Mexico is two hours behind us (until we switch from Daylight Savings Time here), so it was still dark. The previous day it had rained heavily in Mexico City, so that precipitation fell as snow on the mountain peak. We were just a couple of days past the full moon, so the moonlight was still strong. Look at this cool picture with the snowy summit illuminated in the moonlight and the sky full of stars.
