In central Mexico tamales are wrapped in a corn husk. In areas such as Oaxaca and Chiapas in southern Mexico, they are wrapped in banana leaves. Since yesterday I wrote about the tamales that Meredith, Chuck and I enjoyed on Sunday, I thought it would be appropriate to post this funny picture that Alejandro sent me a few days ago.
