I have an abundance of flowers in my garden, but I rarely cut any to bring a bouquet into the house. The one exception I make is in the autumn when I start to clear out the flower beds.
One of my iris was once again doing a second bloom. One of the heavy stalks had bent to the ground, so I cut it off. I picked some other autumn bloomers, such as anemone, toad lily, and asters, for a bouquet.
