Snow in June?

Last Sunday while I was talking with Alejandro on Skype, there was a heavy thunderstorm in Mexico City.  Someone sent him a photo from another neighborhood of the city.

Although there was no hail where Alejandro lives, in some parts of the city there was so much that it looked as if they had been hit by a snowstorm.

  1. WOW! We had one heck of a storm on Monday night with hail and continuous lightning. The lightning lasted for about 3 hours and the heavy rain for about 7 hours. Wonder if it had worked its way up from CDMX? We LOVED the rain and the lightning of course. Not the hail though, it damages the crops.

    1. I'm losing track of time! I double checked with Alejandro, and it was Monday that they had the storm. So, yes, it was apparently all one big weather system.
We just had a big thunder storm here, but fortunately no hail.
