Mission Completed

After about two months, yesterday I finally finished my yard and garden work before I take off for Mexico again.   I went through all the flower beds again, weeding them a second time and laying done more Preen to keep the weeds from taking over while I am gone.  The weather forecast for the next couple of days even cooperated with a lack of rain or excessive heat so that I was able to apply much needed weed and feed to the lawn.

So here is my garden...

    1. Thank you, cousin... although it hasn't done much good for my waistline this year.

  3. Very nice. How do you keep things from going to pot when you are gone?

    1. My friend who house-sits for me will water the garden and spray it with deer repellent. I have laid down Preen which should keep the weeds from taking over. Many of the perennials will already by done blooming by the time I return in late August, so the garden will be past its prime.
