Along Mexico City's famous boulevard, Paseo de la Reforma, there are plenty of signs that Christmas is on its way.
At the intersection of Reforma and Insurgentes, one of the city's busiest, workers were putting up a display of Christmas lights.
Nearby, the "Polo Norte" (North Pole) had come to the Reforma 222 shopping mall. Under the tree there was a big chair for Santa.. but maybe he was out for lunch at the time.
But if he's not there, you can always put your letter in the "Buzón de Santa" (Santa's mailbox).
GNP, a Mexican insurance company, set up a couple of Christmas trees along the boulevard.
GNP also set up this "gingerbread" cottage... with another mailbox for Santa to the left.
The Marquis Reforma Hotel has become well-known for its elaborate displays for the Day of the Dead, and it is also nicely decorated for the Christmas season.
Next up... more along Paseo de la Reforma.
