Plaza Tepeyac is a shopping mall about 4 miles away from where Alejandro's family lives. It's a small mall, but nicely decorated for the holiday season.

"This Christmas, become a kid again."
The Christmas tree in front of the World Trade Center has been set up, and was being decorated. In past years it has been sponsored by the Krispy Kreme donut shop, and it was decorated with giant ornaments in the shape of donuts. This year, I see no donuts.
