As I mentioned before, after the "Alebrije" Parade the figures are put on display along Paseo de la Reforma. It's much easier to photograph the colorful, bizarre creatures when they are not moving down the street nor blocked by people in the parade. On Sunday, one of the things that we wanted to do was to take a better look at the "alebrijes". The fact that it was a cloudy day actually made photography easier. I did not have to deal with the contrast between sunshine and the shade from the trees which line the boulevard.
So here is a closer look at many of the entries of the 2024 "Alebrije" Parade...
