In yesterday's post, I talked about the jacaranda trees which are now in bloom. With the hotter temperatures of spring the blossoms fall, and the streets and sidewalks of the city are carpeted with purple flowers. It's only March, but after a couple weeks of days consistently in the 80s Fahrenheit, the blossoms are already falling.
You don't want to park your car under a jacaranda tree, because the fallen blooms will stain the finish.
