My neighbors across the hall decorated their door with a witch, spiders and webs, and a sign saying, "Happy Halloween".
I didn't want to stick tacks into my door, so I simply bought a cardboard decoration to tape to the window next to the entrance. Three lovely skeleton ladies and the words "Día de Muertos" (Day of the Dead) welcome you to my apartment.
It makes me chuckle that the Mexican neighbors decorated for Halloween, but that this gringo tenant has decorated for the Day of the Dead.
