On my last trip I reported on a high rise building that was under construction on Insurgentes Avenue just a couple blocks from my apartment. Construction continues, windows are being put in place, and we now know what the building will be. It will house luxury condos and a Hyatt Regency Hotel.
Posters on the barricades around the construction site show what the finished building, a typical condo unit, and the hotel's rooftop pool will look like.
(Hope the pool will be heated, because here in high-altitude Mexico City, there are not many days when the maximum temperature gets up to 80 degrees Fahrenheit!)
