When I got up this morning, there was an email from my cousin Brigitta who lives outside of Zurich, Switzerland. Several photos were attached showing the snow that they received on Thursday.
I wonder if schools in Switzerland have "snow days"? Do the children (and the teachers too, for that matter) watch the snow falling and hope that classes will be cancelled?

This afternoon I spoke on Skype with my cousin Walter and his wife Helen. They sent me some photos at their home in Aarau, about 28 miles to the west of Zurich.
