A "Pendeja" Inducted into the Club

Now we have a woman who belongs in the "Pendejo" Club.

Mary Miller, a newly elected member of Congress from the state of Illinois, gave a speech to a group of "pendejo" supporters the day before the insurrection.

In her speech she quoted Adolf Hitler.  "Hitler was right on one thing.  He said whoever has the youth has the future."  She was immediately rebuked by politicians from both parties.  She subsequently apologized for her comment, but one has to wonder why she found it necessary to make her point with a reference to Hitler.  Was she perhaps trying to appeal to the white supremacists in her audience?

  1. Yeah, she could have quoted almost anyone else who has ever said a similar thing. Like Whitney Houston said, "I believe the children are our future...." It was most definitely a dog whistle, and I find her apology unconvincing. She's only sorry now because she's worried about the optics. Just like all the rats fleeting from Trump's sinking ship in the past couple of days. I find it hard to believe that only now they think has he gone too far when he's been spewing the same hate and lies that led to this for years.

    1. Unfortunately most of the "pendejo's" base is sticking by him. They still believe all the conspiracy theories. And now they are swallowing the latest crackpot theory that the insurrection was orchestrated by Antifa.
