At the other end of Polanco's Parque Lincoln was a delightful surprise... an aviary filled with a variety of colorful birds. Admission is 7 pesos (35 cents). There were lots of parrots, a couple of peacocks and other feathered friends. A couple of the parrots could talk; there was one that kept saying "Hola. Hola."
Most of the birds seemed to be used to the presence of humans, and did not fly away as I approached to take a picture. Here are some of my photos...
