The Empty Nest

In my previous post I wrote that I had discovered a nest of baby rabbits in one of my flower beds.  Each day I have been checking the nest.  The babies have been growing.  I could count a total of seven baby rabbits.

This morning I went out to look at the nest and it was empty.  The bunnies had grown enough that the mother had kicked them out to start a life on their own.
