Thanks, Kim! Winter is getting me down. It was 9 below this morning when I ran some errands. Tomorrow it's supposed to go above freezing (I better get out my shorts!), but then it's going to plunge again. Saludos, and have fun with the snowblower!
I'm not sure "fun" is the word for it; perhaps "survival" would be a better fit.
Wow! Nine below!!! The coldest we've gotten here has been about 1°F to the positive, though the farther we move into February, the more unseasonably cold the temperatures are.
Both of you guys are CRAZY to be up there this time of the year when there are so many other places to be...........like mexico! I must admit I now watch the weather about the Northeast way more wondering if ya'll are going to survive. My house is available next year - January through March for rent! Seriously.
Thank you, Barbara. The last two winters, I have stayed into February thinking "the worst of the winter will be over with." But it hasn't worked out that way. Unfortunately, I do have to be home from time to time, and get things done around here.
I have a friend who decided to spend January and February in Florida this year as she couldn't take another winter. But she's coming back Monday night, and I don't think there will be much less snow, LOL...I feel badly for her, but she has been warned.
This looks very promising. I used to be a cartoonist and pen-and-ink illustrator. One of the things I really want to learn when I have time is how to paint. Mexico will be a perfect place to learn it.
Thanks, Lee. I'm sure that Mexico will provide plenty of inspiration to you for painting. I have never had any lessons at all... and I am mildly color blind to boot.
You are so talented, Bill! I love how you've done the trees.
ReplyDeleteHopefully winter isn't getting you down.

Where today's excitement was the arrival of a new snowblower engine. Woo hoo!!!!
Thanks, Kim!

As brutal as the temperatures have been, I don't think I'd trade them for your six feet of snow. LOL

Oops, forgot to comment on the progress of the painting. I'm mesmerized......

I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that winter won't linger on into April, like it did last year!
