I saw this bit of trivia on a poster outside of the Mexico City Zoo in Chapultepec Park...
"Did you know that more than 9 million species of reptiles exist in the world, of which more than 850 are found in Mexico. For that reason, our country is second in the world in (reptile) diversity, exceeded only by Australia."
