I passed a newsstand yesterday afternoon, and I stopped to take a look at the front page of the Mexico City daily "Milenio".
"Infections of doctors and health personnel in the capital accelerate"
The article says that 1,889 health care workers have tested positive for COVID in Mexico City in the last month. One major hospital, Hospital Juárez, reports that 23% of its staff is infected.
Moderna has donated 2.7 million doses of their COVID vaccine to Mexico. Those doses will be used as booster shots for teachers, most of whom earlier received the less effective Cansino vaccine from China.
