I went there on a rainy day in June, and didn't spend a lot of time on the outside, so I didn't recognize it from your picture.

That trip was the first time I had ever explored that part of Centro Histórico; it's quite interesting, at least architecturally.

Saludos,

Kim G
in BAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8005183909843018870.post-46564305396219161152015-11-21T19:28:16.698-05:002015-11-21T19:28:16.698-05:00I can understand why the Centro Histórico location...I can understand why the Centro Histórico location of El Cardenal might close early, but all of their other locations close at 6:30 too. No, I've not been to Los Girasoles.
The museum you are talking about (Ex Teresa Arte Actual) is the one I mentioned and pictured in this post.
Don't be envious... just plan on a winter trip down here. I am still hoping to see you when I am in D.F. late January through early February.
¡Saludos!Retired Teacherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03697897155105288077noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8005183909843018870.post-74307212678665715842015-11-21T15:57:56.039-05:002015-11-21T15:57:56.039-05:00I've long wanted to eat at El Cardenal, which ...I've long wanted to eat at El Cardenal, which is supposedly one of the best restaurants in DF, but I never seem to get there before closing time. Have you tried Los Girasoles, which is right next to the Munal?

Also, there's a museum in a *very* leaning church called Ex Teresa Arte Actual, located at Licenciado Verdad 8. If you're facing the cathedral, it's behind it a few blocks.

Saludos,

Kim G
Boston, MA
Where we are deeply envious of your trip to DF.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
